NPC Wraps Up a Successful WEFTEC 2025: Show Highlights and Takeaways

National Pump Company extends sincere appreciation to everyone who joined us at WEFTEC 2025, the leading event for water quality professionals, held September 27 to October 1 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. The energy and engagement at South Building Booth 1831 made this year’s show an outstanding experience for The Pump People and the entire NPC team.

Showcasing the H28 Series Hydraulic Pumps
Visitors got an up-close look at the robust and versatile H28 Series, which was our centerpiece at this year’s show. The H28MC and H28LC vertical turbine pumps, now available for order, received strong interest for their high-volume flow capabilities. With bowls and impellers in stock and ready to be built to customer specifications, the response confirmed the demand for advanced, customizable pump solutions. As always, these models are engineered, manufactured, and performance-tested at our NSF 61 and ISO 9001 certified facility in Glendale, Arizona, to meet exacting standards for performance and quality.

• H28MC: Powers up to 10,500 GPM with a 500-horsepower motor and achieves a Best Efficiency Point of 14,750 GPM at 143 feet/stage, 1,180 RPM, with up to 87% efficiency.
• H28LC: Delivers a Best Efficiency Point of 13,250 GPM at 131 feet/stage, with up to 87% efficiency at 1,180 RPM.
• Additional highlights: Specific speed range of 3,600–3,800, maximum power rating of 2,000 HP, and customizable up to seven stages for the most demanding projects.

Both models were designed using advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for optimal efficiency and strength-to-weight ratios, making them ideal for industrial, municipal, and petroleum applications.

Advancing Product Rationalization and Portfolio Optimization
WEFTEC 2025 also allowed guests to learn more about NPC’s ongoing product rationalization initiative, which streamlines our product offering, reduces redundancies, and optimizes strategies across operations. These efforts further ensure quick, reliable solutions, responsive technical support, and high-quality, tailored pump options for clients across all key markets.

Celebrating with Gorman-Rupp
Beyond the trade show floor, the week’s festivities included a special event hosted by Gorman-Rupp at Howl at the Moon, where NPC team members and guests enjoyed a lively evening of music and camaraderie. Karaoke brought out the inner performers among attendees, while dueling pianos kept the energy high throughout the night. Gorman-Rupp hosts these events every year, creating a fun environment for colleagues, partners, and their guests to celebrate together. At Gorman-Rupp, the more the merrier!
